By accessing or using ScoutAI (“the Service”), operated at scoutai.site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Your continued use of ScoutAI after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
ScoutAI is an AI-powered job search agent delivered as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. The Service includes:
ScoutAI is a tool to support your job search. It is not a recruitment agency, staffing firm, or employment guarantee. We do not guarantee that you will receive interviews, offers, or employment through use of the Service.
To use ScoutAI, you must create an account using either Google OAuth sign-in or email and password registration. You agree to:
ScoutAI reserves the right to disable any account at any time if we reasonably believe the account has been compromised or is being used in violation of these Terms.
ScoutAI offers two subscription tiers:
All paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid tier, you authorize ScoutAI to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain access to paid features until then.
Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 14 days at sonny@sonny-steele.com and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
Usage Limits: Each tier has specific limits on AI generations, Auto-Apply submissions, and other features. These limits reset monthly. We reserve the right to modify tier features and pricing with 30 days’ notice.
ScoutAI uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic’s Claude API) to generate cover letters, resume rewrites, tailored resumes, profile summaries, match scores, and other content. You acknowledge and agree that:
ScoutAI’s Auto-Apply feature automates the submission of job applications on your behalf to third-party job sites. This section contains important legal disclosures that you must read carefully.
How It Works: Auto-Apply uses Playwright browser automation to navigate third-party job application forms, fill in your information, and submit applications. The service may use residential proxies provided by Bright Data and CAPTCHA-solving services provided by 2Captcha to complete submissions.
User Authorization: By enabling Auto-Apply, you expressly authorize ScoutAI to submit job applications on your behalf using the information you have provided in your profile. You are responsible for ensuring that all information used in automated applications is accurate and truthful.
Third-Party Terms of Service: You acknowledge that the use of automated tools to submit applications may violate the terms of service of third-party job sites (including but not limited to Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, and other applicant tracking systems). You accept full responsibility for any consequences that arise from using Auto-Apply, including but not limited to account suspension or banning from third-party platforms.
Liability Disclaimer: ScoutAI is not responsible for any consequences resulting from automated applications, including rejected applications, blacklisting by employers, account termination on third-party platforms, or any other adverse outcomes. Use of Auto-Apply is entirely at your own risk.
CAPTCHA Solving & Proxy Usage: The Auto-Apply service uses third-party CAPTCHA-solving services (2Captcha) and residential proxy networks (Bright Data) to facilitate automated submissions. You acknowledge and consent to the use of these services on your behalf.
